Here are the words right from Blair:
“We had produced some sample bottles for my importer some time ago. We made 36 proto bottles with skulls (As you will see this is why no exp date) We sent only 1 case 12 bottles to Japan to get their thoughts. They chose that this line should not have Skulls on the bottles....So I have had these 2 cases sitting waiting for a home. ...The very cool thing for you is not only are these 1 of 12 They are the only Japan label line in existence that ever had the skulls on them at all. All other Japan labels would not have the skull....In addition; there are only a handful of Japan label sauces in this country as I am prohibited from marketing them via contract. So in conclusion . These 24 bottles are perhaps the most rare I am aware of.”
