| Use this sauce as a glaze for
ribs, chicken, or pork for your next barbecue. Garnish
with fresh whole blackberries and mint sprigs. This
stuff is sweet-hot, sticky, and positively addicting. |
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup rinsed blackberries
1/4 cup each catsup, honey, brown sugar, and minced
fresh ginger.
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt (optional) 1 tsp. or more Mad
Dog 357 Hot Sauce
|
|
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except hot sauce in a food
processor or blender. Whirl until berries are pureed.
Add 1 or more teaspoons 357
Mad Dog to taste and pour into a
1-quart glass measure.
Cover loosely with microwave-safe plastic wrap,
leaving vents for steam.
Cook in a microwave oven at full power (100%),
stirring occasionally, until berry mixture is
reduced to 1 1/3 cups, about 8 minutes. |
